The Young Audiences Arts for Learning Annual Leadership Forum, in its 27th year, is a great opportunity for the entire Young Audiences Arts for Learning community to actively engage with your peers in an exciting two days of celebration, networking and professional learning.
The Forum begins on Thursday evening, October 19th at 6:30 p.m. at YA’s 65th Anniversary Gala, held this year at the Mandarin Oriental, 80 Columbus Circle in New York City. Your Forum registration includes a ticket to this Black Tie optional event.
On Friday morning, the day begins with breakfast at the Princeton Club followed by inter-active sessions for all participants. These meetings will enable YA board volunteers to share ideas and experiences, and talk about the challenges of board leadership with their counterparts from across the Young Audiences Arts for Learning Network. In addition, the morning includes meetings for the YA Executive Directors Council, the YA National Board and the formation of a new Affiliate Board Leadership Council… all terrific opportunities to mix and mingle. The afternoon plenary sessions will feature presentations of innovative Best Practices and Case Studies of successful arts in education projects which have made a significant impact in affiliate communities.
We know you will come away with new ideas on how arts integrated education encourages students to think, learn, grow and achieve. The dress code for The Princeton Club is business attire, no blue jeans.
For more information about the Forum, a draft agenda can be found here.
