Young Audiences Arts for Learning would like to welcome Tracy Edmunds to the YA Network. Ms. Edmunds will be serving as the new Executive Director of Gateway to the Arts - Young Audiences' Pittsburgh, PA affiliate, which merged with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust in July 2015.
Tracy L. Edmunds joined the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Education and Community Engagement department in July 2003 as the department’s Program Manager. In 2015, she was promoted to Vice President of Arts Education. In this capacity, Tracy works with educators, students, artists and community members on arts education and integration programs that nurture appreciation and understanding through the arts. These programs include ArtMASTERS—an educational outreach program that offers master classes, workshops, lectures and demonstrations taught by the Trust’s season of touring performers, Theater Arts Workshops, Gateway to the Arts residencies, Camp Broadway and professional development opportunities for educators and artists. Tracy holds a Master of Arts degree from Point Park University and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
