The morning show on the Louisiana station WGNO, Good Morning New Orleans, recently interviewed the principal about his new Young Audiences Charter School opening in August 2013. In the YA Charter School, teachers and administrators will work to create and support a culture of high expectations that allows each student to reach their greatest potential; providing a creative, nurturing, and challenging academic environment to encourage students' individual learning and empower them to take their place in today's innovative and entrepreneurial economy. The YA Charter School will open in August 2013 for students (K-3) living in the Jefferson Parish area of New Orleans.
