Thank you for joining us earlier this month in Chicago at Young Audiences Arts for Learning's (YA) 2024 National Conference (April 3-5)! It was an exhilarating, inspiring, and action-packed experience, and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone involved. We are especially grateful to our conference co-hosts Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE) for welcoming us all to their city and gallery space.
We were thrilled to welcome so many new and familiar faces at what turned out to be our largest YA National Conference yet! In true YA fashion, attendees were treated to lively in-person networking opportunities, immersive professional learning experiences, artful performances and site visits, and a festive Host Event party.
We are pleased to share Conference Photo Albums featuring highlights from our time together. Additional conference resources will be posted in the coming weeks to Learn.YA.org.
YA's 2024 National Conference explored the essential collaborative relationships between teaching artists, community arts groups, teachers, and schools in service of engaging the community and educating students and families. Often extending beyond the classroom walls, this work is tied to the needs, challenges, and ideas of the community, while also being grounded in building students’ academic and artistic skills. Practitioners from across the Young Audiences network and beyond came together to share, create, discover, and explore the innovative work supporting these collaborations. Thank you again!
