Young Audiences of Oregon & SW Washington joined 22 Young Audiences affiliates (from Georgia to Massachusetts) to celebrate National Young Audiences Arts for Learning Week 2014: March 16–22. This year, they organized 12 events that included 10 teaching artists in schools from Vancouver, WA to Scappoose, OR.
As part of their celebratory events, Executive Director, Cary Clarke attended a community arts event that was organized by Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici’s office. Suzanne Bonamici is avid supporter of arts education and she is the co-chair of the Congressional STEAM Caucus.
