Director of Strategic Partnerships & Network Relations
A passionate believer in the right for all people to access the arts, Melissa joined Young Audiences after serving as Assistant Director, School Programs at Lincoln Center Education, where she designed a program that measured the impact of infusing the arts in underfunded NYC middle schools. She also oversaw pilot programs for young people with autism and court-involved youth. Prior to this, Melissa led the literary and education programs at Premiere Stages, a theater company in New Jersey.
Melissa is on the adjunct faculty at New York University, where she teaches a course called Drama for All Learners. She received her PhD in Educational Theatre at NYU and her MFA in Playwriting from Ohio University.
